DAY 1 : ARRIVAL AT TAOYUAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - PULI - SUN MOON LAKE

Arrival at Taoyuan International Airport. You will meet our representative and they will pick you up and transfer to the heart of Taiwan. Photo stop at Sanyi, woodcarving village. Arrive Puli, visit papery workshop, photo stop at Paper Church. Continue to Sun Moon Lake, driving along the lake and visit Wen Wu Temple with beautiful lake view. If time allows before it’s dark, visit Tse En Pagoda and Tehua Village. Stay overnight at Sun Moon Lake.

DAY 2 : SUN MOON LAKE - TAINAN - KAOHSIUNG

After breakfast, drive south for Tainan. Arrive Tainan to visit Chikan Tower and Confucius Temple. Also taking a walking tour around this area. 15:30 Proceed to Kaohsiung. The biggest city in the Southern Taiwan. Visit Dragon & Tiger Pagoda; Spring& Autumn Pavilion. Check in the hotel in the late afternoon. You can enjoy the beautiful night view when taking a stroll on their own visit or the famous Liuho Night Market. Overnight in Kaohsiung.

DAY 3 : KAOHSIUNG - FO GUANG SHAN MONASTER - TAITUNG

Have your Breakfast and proceed to the biggest monastery in Taiwan, FoGuang Shan Monastrythe most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. Here you will learn about Buddhism during the monastery walking tour to visit “Buddha Memorial Center” and communicate with some of the monks or nuns during the visit, there will be opportunity to taste Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own cost). Proceed to Taitung. Arrive at Chihpen, check in the best hot-springs hotel in Chihpen. Clients can relax themselves with the hot-springs soaking. Stay overnight at Taitung.

DAY 4 : TAITUNG - TAROKO NATIONAL PARK

Start your day with a healthy breakfast and drive north along the east coast to visit Siaoyeliou, Dulan (art center and café with pacific view), Tunghe Bridge (you may see wild monkeys here), and Sansientai. Arrive Hualien County. Check in hotel. Rest of day free at leisure. Stay overnight at Taroko.

DAY 5 : TAROKO - DEPARTURE AT TAIPEI

Check out from the hotel and visit Taroko National Park tour: visit Swallow Grotto, Eternal Spring Shrine Taroko Gorge Gateway. Back to Taipei via Su-Hua highway and stop at the Chingshui Cliffs. Return to Taipei City, clients will be transferred to their hotel in Taipei. (If highway that connects Hualien and Taipei is closed due to the bad weather, we’ll arrange you to take train from Hualien back to Taipei.
